Getting Started

This section will outline how to get stated creating user guides with Dokument.

Creating a new Dokument

To create a new user_guide follow these steps.

  1. Navigate to the dokument home page in your browser and click on the Create a new User Guide link.
  2. Complete the form with the properties for your user guide and click Create Dokument.
  3. Dokument will now generate your new user guide template files and config file. You will be redirected to the home page where your new book will appear in the table. Click on the book's name to view the default user_guide home page.
  4. To edit this page open up ./application/views/{book_name}/indep.php in a text editor and start tapping away!
